The running order

What happens next

Waiting is the worst part of applying anywhere, so here's exactly what happens. A real person reads every application, not a keyword filter, and we'll come back to you either way, including when the answer is no.

Applied

Where you are right now. Your application is in our pipeline, submitted through Workable and logged against the role you chose.

Nothing is being assessed yet. This stage is just the record that you're in.

How long each stage takes depends on the role, and we'd rather not promise you a number we can't keep. If you want to know where things stand, reply to your confirmation email and someone will tell you.

Know the company

From Dubai to the world

It started with a single office in Dubai in 2009. We grew into the leading ticketing platform in MENA, and today we sell worldwide: concert tours across Europe, Formula 1 races, world-class attractions and major international events.

There's never a boring day with the Platinumlist app.

What we actually do

Your portal to living the moment

Strip the software away and the job is simple. Someone wants to be there when it happens: the goal, the drop, the punchline, the first ride of the day before the queues build. We're what stands between wanting to be in that room and holding the ticket for it. Get it right and nobody notices us at all; they just remember the night.

Eleven home markets: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Türkiye, Egypt and Morocco.

And increasingly, everywhere else: we sell into the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Malta, Azerbaijan, Japan, Singapore, Texas and Mexico.

What that means for your job: multiple currencies, multiple languages including Arabic, and traffic that spikes the hour a major act goes on sale.

Work you'd have touched recently: COP28 UAE, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, La Perle by Dragone, and the OFFLIMITS music festival.

Designed by experience-lovers. For experience-makers.

Where you'd fit

Pick your team. See what the job actually is.

Ten teams, and no two of them spend a day the same way. Some of them are in the room with organisers, some are in the venue at 8pm with a box office to open.

What you'd actually be doing

You build both halves: the site and app that millions of people buy through, and the internal platform every single event gets configured in. When a major act goes on sale at 10am, your work is what holds.

Culture

Things we actually run, not values on a wall

It's easy to paint values on a wall and hope nobody checks. We'd rather show you what we genuinely run, on a schedule, with real numbers behind it, and let you judge for yourself.

We believe our biggest asset is our people, and that mentoring isn't defined by hierarchy. Anyone with something to teach can teach it.

Buddy system

From day one

A buddy, a first-week plan and a 30-day check-in, so nobody works it out alone.

If it's a yes

Your first ninety days are already planned

You won't spend your first week hunting for a laptop and a login. Onboarding runs in four phases, each with someone whose job it is, and it starts before you arrive, whether you're joining one of our five Gulf offices or working remotely. Remote is a genuine option here, not an exception we tolerate.

  1. 01

    Pre-boarding

Before you arrive: your accounts and systems access are set up, your Academy invite goes out, and a welcome packet is waiting. Remote joiners get a laptop shipped, a home-office stipend, and monitor, keyboard and headset sent out. Onsite joiners get a desk, full kit and office access ready on day one.

  2. 02

    Day one

Orientation, your buddy, and your department's tool set, which differs for Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, Analytics and Legal.

  3. 03

    First week

A structured first-week plan with your buddy, plus your mandatory AI License training.

  4. 04

    First month and beyond

A job scorecard around week two, a 30-day check-in, a probation review roughly ten days before probation ends, and an onboarding feedback round at 90 days, because we want to know if we got this wrong.
